Audio-visual Installation
Exhibited at Stephen Lawrence Gallery, London
16-30 June, 2022
A lot of people say that "life feels like a movie", but does that mean that it's fake? What can my grandma’s end credits say about the people and decisions of one’s life? Were there any true moments - any true human connections? Where is the truth in it and what does that even mean?
In this audio-visual installation, the end is never really the end and even if we think it is, it isn't always clear. With credits that have been physically made by stamping each letter at the time, an old TV monitor forgotten by our times and an experimental audio piece made out of guitar noise, we're witnessing a movie (life) that was never there to begin with.
